Having successfully built an award-winning pension audit and assurance practice, I launched Progress Accountants in 2017.
I went to the University of Plymouth to complete an engineering degree but upon leaving I found myself working for one of the ‘Big 4’ as an accountant.
I have over 25 years of experience as an accountant, and 7 as a business owner. I understand the pain business owners go through setting up and growing their businesses.
I am keen to help our clients avoid the pain points I experienced through efficient record-keeping, daily bookkeeping and forward-looking financial information.
When I am not working I enjoy:
Swimming; taking my daughter every week.
Cycling; not quite the next Bradley Wiggins but a keen past time of mine.
Researching new technology; the speed at which technology evolves amazes me.
LEE ROGERS
Accountant
I have been working in accounting for 8 years. I’m excited to be at Progress Accountants as they are a forward thinking company that use the latest and best technology to ensure clients receive the best service possible. I take pride in the high level of service we provide while working with business owners to help them grow.
When I am not working I enjoy:
Playing and watching football
Spending time with family and friends
Walking my dog
ASHLEY FREEMAN
Associate Accountant
I am currently studying to become an ACCA qualified accountant. I completed a diploma in business law and have three A levels.
I have previously worked as an emergency call taker and restaurant manager, so I like to think I strive under pressure.
When I am not working I enjoy:
Football; I try and watch my team play as often as possible.
Music; Oasis are one of my favourite band and I am hopeful for a reunion.
Karaoke; I will never turn down the opportunity to sing on stage especially if you pop Wonderwall on.
LUKE BOSCH
Associate Accountant
I am currently studying to become an ACCA qualified accountant. I completed my schooling back in South Africa and moved to England with my family in 2017.
Since joining I have passed all of my exams and have been trusted to manage my projects.
When I am not working I enjoy:
Working out; I try to go to the gym 4 times a week.
Pool; my cousins and I play every week.
Beer; since moving from South Africa I have been able to try beers I hadn’t heard of before.
